Chilli (Powder / Whole) Chilli is extensively used as spice in curried dishes. It is also used as an ingredient in curry powder and in seasonings. Bird chili is used in making hot sauces as pepper sauce and Tabsco sauce. Chilli comes in a wide range of shapes, sizes, color and degrees of pungency.
Turmeric is used to flavor and to colour foodstuffs. It is a principal ingredient in curry powder. Turmeric oleoresin is used in brine pickles and to some extent in mayonnaise and relish formulations, non-alcoholic beverages, gelatins, butter and cheese etc.
Fenugreek is used both as a food and food additive as well as in medicines. As a spice, it flavors food. Powder of dried leaves is also used for garnishing and flavoring variety of food.
